Hair growth cycle and hair loss
The normal cycle of hair growth lasts from two to three years. During this phase each hair grows approximately one centimeter per month. At any given moment about 90 percent of the hair on your scalp is growing. At any given moment about 10% of the hair on your scalp is in a dormant stage. After three to four months, the hair being in an inactive phase will fall and in its place new hair will begin to grow
It is normal for anybody to lose hair in a daily basis as part of this hair growth cycle in fact in average each person loses about one hundred hairs per day; however, some people may experience an excessive hair loss (more than normal). Hair loss can affect everyone including men, women and even children. It is believe that some races are more likely to hair loss but this hasn’t been entirely proven. Most of the times when a person has hair loss tendency they will begin experiencing it as early as in their early 20’s and be bald by age 25, in this cases the most common reason it is hereditary hair loss tendency which pretty much can be translated to “deal with it because you will never have hair ever again” it could be hard but it simply how genetics work and until now there is not available treatment for this reason, many different approaches can be tried including hair transplantation or any other method, but chances are so scarce that success rates are below five percent.
